What is Limited and Zero Export?
Limited and Zero Export is an extension of your current solar. Electricity distributors can limit how many panels you are able to have so you don't overload their infrastructure. Solar Knight can install an Export Device to your inverter which allows you the freedom to have as many panels as you desire!
Why would I want Limited Export?

Your distributor restricts how many panels you can have.

You need a bigger system to meet your energy usage but your distributor wont approve it.
How does it Work?
Limited Export restricts the amount of solar power that your system exports to the grid.
Example - You have an 8Kw system but you are only approved for 4.5kW.
Your system will feed back your approved amount and restrict the remaining 3.5kW that your distributor won't allow you to have. If it's not feeding back to the grid, it can't effect their infrastructure.
